ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system. It provides a framework that an organization can follow, rather than establishing environmental performance requirements. AS9100 is a widely adopted and standardized quality management system for the aerospace industry. It was released in October, 1999, by the Society of Automotive Engineers(SAE) and European Association of Aerospace Industries, sponsor bodies of IAQG(International Aerospace Quality Group), for the Aviation, Space and Defense industry based on ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Major aerospace manufacturers (Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, etc.) and suppliers worldwide require compliance and/or registration to AS9100 as a condition of doing business with them.

The Nadcap program is administered by the Performance Review Institute(PRI). Nadcap was established in 1990 by SAE International. Nadcap is the leading worldwide cooperative program of major companies designed to manage of special processes and products and provide continual improvement within the aerospace and automotive industries. Through PRI, Nadcap provides independent certification of manufacturing processes for the industry. ASTK (AeroSpace Technology of Korea, Inc.) is accredited in Heat Treating(2006), Non-Destructive Testing(2009), and Surface Enhancement(2012)
